Dr. Leonid Sheinin – PhD in Medical Sciences, psychiatrist-narcologist, member of the International Association of Diseases Related to Drug and Alcohol Addiction.
Education and work experience: In 1969 he began his studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Vilna. In 1975 he completed his studies at the Medical Faculty of the Third Medical Institute in Moscow. In 1976, he completed his residency in psychiatry.
1978 – 1980 – Worker of the Research Institute of the Institute of Psychiatry, Ministry of Health of Russia.
1981 – 1986 – Head of the clinical department at the psycho-pharmacology center of the Ministry of Health in the USSR.
In 1985 he received a PhD in Medical Sciences.
1986-1989 Head of the Department of Neurotic Disorders at the Clinic of the Literary Foundation of the Soviet Union.
In 1994, a course in narcology, Tel Aviv University.
In the years 1994 – 2012, he is a physician-narcologist at the Israel Prison Service.
2012-2013 – Doctor at the Methadone Center Tzur Aviv.
May 2013 – Physician at the Phoenix Rehabilitation Center.
