THE POWER OF SUPPORT GROUPS FOR THE FAMILIES OF ADDICTS
At Phoenix Rehabilitation Center, our staff understands what a bewildering experience it can be to have a loved one suffer from an addiction. At times, you may feel as if the only thing you can do is give up. That’s because you have nowhere to turn and no idea of how to grasp what’s happening to your family member.
The power of our support groups is one of the things that makes us the best rehab in Israel. In fact, you’ll find that the support we offer families of addicts makes us one of the best options for rehabilitation overseas. We do this by providing families safe places to vent, share, and learn.
You are not alone. Our staff receives many phone calls from families and even close friends of addict who are in search of the best rehab center available. We understand how misinformation makes things worse instead of better. We also understand that you genuinely want to help your loved one get his or her life back.
It’s true that a lack of factual information and inappropriate responses can lead to irreversible consequences. That true for the families of addicts as well addicts. As the best rehab in Europe, we help you avoid those pitfalls and increase the potential for restoring wholeness to the addict and all loved ones.
Al-Anon: One Of Our Key Weekly Support Groups
As you already know, a single phone call is not sufficient. It’s only the beginning of the journey. Just as your loved one will need ongoing support from our staff, you need help to understand and to cope with what’s happening. That’s where our weekly Al-Anon support group comes into the picture.
We created Al-Anon weekly support groups at Phoenix Rehabilitation Center as one way to offer the type of ongoing help that loved ones need. What will you gain from participating in these weekly meetings? Here are some examples to consider:
- An Introduction to the Twelve-Step program for families and loved ones of addicts
- Factual information on the nature of addiction, how to recognize the signs, and presentations on a number of co-dependence topics
- Family education that helps you understand how to support your loved one even as you engage in self-care
- Access to small groups that focus on specific types of addiction
- Therapeutic help groups designed to support you as you support your loved one
- Seminars that keep you up to date on the latest treatment options
Our Al-Anon program continues to expand. As we receive new information that aids loved ones who seek support, we offer additional classes, group therapy sessions, and other means of providing a safe place for you to learn and to share.
Many of our offerings to the families of addicts are available at no charge. All it will cost you is the time it takes to attend our sessions, classes, and seminars. Through it all, you’ll have a safe space designed to help you remain emotionally healthy as you learn what’s best for you and for the loved one who is dealing with his or her addiction.
Are you ready to make that first call? Will you join us at a weekly meeting? Rest assured that we will be happy to see you!
Our meetings take place every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. at Rishon le Zion Street. Darbella 4b. To get started and learn a little more about our support to the loved ones of addicts, call us today at 050-6888539 or 052-8437690. That first call will be the beginning of a fresh start for you.
